Suburban Lions Hockey Club is a vibrant hockey club based in Perth's western suburbs. Suburban Lions caters for hockey players of all ages and abilities, from minkey, juniors and senior turf grades playing hockey in the highest grades, through to veterans and grass hockey for the more socially inclined. The Club has had a number of representative players, from State and National Champioships to representing Australia at the Olympics.
As a family friendly club, we have a number of families who have been with us for many years with the whole family playing across a range of teams, and making up an important part of the bigger Suburban Lions Family.
The Club is celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2022, marking a significant milestone in the proud history of Suburban Lions, and for hockey in Western Australia. In 2021, the Club celebrated the 30-year anniversary of the women's side of the Club.
