30 years since first women's team formed

1991 saw a group of ladies join the Hockey club that had only fielded male teams since it was formed in 1922.  The Subs ladies were also instrumental in enabling progressive outcomes in hockey by enabling women to wear shorts on the hockey field vs skirts or skorts, 1996 was the breakthrough year to achieve this with the Western Australian Hockey Association.  Read new article attached.
