Suburban Lions turns 100

The Lions first hit the pitch all the way pack in May 20, 1922 at the Fremantle Esplanade and have since gone on to become one of the state’s best hockey clubs, with 33 teams currently competition.
Some big names that have come from the club include current Hockeyroo Amy Lawton as well as former stars Ash Nelson, Bevan Lawrence and Dr. Don Tregonning.
