2026 Registrations Now Open

We welcome back our returning players and new players to the Suburban Lions Hockey Club.  

All registrations are now open.  There has been a $10 increase on all feees to cover our increased running costs.

Note for Juniors
Please note that final teams have now been submitted to Hockey WA for our juniors and we may not be able to place your child into a team.  However, should you wish to join Suburban Lions this season we have space in some teams so please contact our Junior VP Amy at juniorvp@suburbanlions.org.au for further information before registering.

Registrations

• Returning players are to click on 'Returning Member', and players who are new to our club are to click on 'New Member'.
• Select the appropriate Registration type from the dropdown box
• Click on the next step, complete the remaining details, and pay fees to complete the registration process

Fees
All our fees are listed under the Registration type.  Please note that transaction and administration fees will be charged at checkout which go directly to the registration platform and online payment providers (currently 2% + $1.60 per transaction). All payments must be via credit card.

Family discounts
SLHC will continue the 10% family discount for those families registering.  The discount code will be contained within the welcome email when the first family member is registered and can be used for second and subsequent family members.

Goalie discounts
Full time golaies with their own equipment receive a reduced fee. There are 3 classes of registration for goalies - Senior Turf, Senior Grass and Junior Turf.

KidSport vouchers 
Please contact registrar@sububanlions.org.au for the code to be used at registration.  For 2026, children aged 5 – 18 with a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Cardcan access up to $300 per eligible player per financial year (1 July - 30 June). Parent information can be found HERE

Note: Please remember to use discount codes at the time of registrating, as refunds will not be issued after the registration process.

Hockey Australia levies are as follows:

Minkey (HookIn2Hockey - no package) - $22.81

Minkey (HookIn2Hockey - with package) - $62.81

Juniors - $57.87

Seniors - $70.22

When you register and pay to play with SLHC you are automatically covered in all your hockey activities by the Hockey Australia National Group Insurance Plan managed by JLT Sport and placed with underwriter Sportscover Australia.  We follow the no pay, no play rule.  

Please note: It is an individual’s responsibility to assess whether the Club-purchased level of cover is adequate to meet personal needs. This is not a Hockey WA or Club responsibility.  Please report any potential claim to the Club Secretary.

If you are unable to pay your fees upfront, please contact Liam via registrar@suburbanlions.org.au to make other arrangements (please note, that ALL fees must be paid in full before the commencement of training for the season).  Please read the fee policy.

Refund Policy
All requests for a refund of fees (full or pro-rata) shall be made in writing with valid supporting reasons for the request. The Committee shall consider all reasonable requests and allow or disallow these at their discretion.  An administrative fee of a minimum of $50 shall be deducted if a refund is approved.  Club Refund Policy can be found HERE.
